It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Jorgensen Hoth of Smithfield, Utah, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Kathrine Hoth; her son-in-law Jason Jamison; and her brother Doug Jorgensen. She is survived by: her husband DeVerle Charles Hoth; her children, Kirk DeVerle (Maria Keeler) of Smithfield, Kelly Wayne (Jenifer Jamison) of Smithfield, Tracy Leland (Kim Jones) of Smithfield, Jason Charles of Smithfield and Sherisse (Greg Darrough) of Smithfield; and her siblings, Mary (Gordon Stephenson) and Jay Jorgensen (Ida). She is also survived by her 50 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Smithfield 18th Ward Chapel (625 E 600 S, Smithfield, UT 84335). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Providence Cemetery (800 E 400 S, River Heights, UT 84321).
