He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Ammaron Lind and Whitmore Lind; his grandson Joseph Wadsworth; and his sisters, Leticia Lind and Kathleen Lind.

He is survived by: his sister Charlene Lind; his children, Carol Ann Lind, Kearns, David, Melvin Lind (Celeste), Tallahassee of Florida, Dawna Kuhn (Douglas) and Douglas; and his wife Kathleen. He is also survived by his family – eleven of his children, sons-in-law, and grandchildren.
