We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Carol Joy Harrison (Smithfield, Utah), born in Logan, Utah. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Alton Hoffman and Janet Louise Syme; her former husband Harold Lynn Ricks; her son Harold Dee; and her siblings, Trudy Hoffman Downs, Alton and Robert Hoffman.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Harrison; her son Craig Ricks (Tracey); her daughter-in-law Suzette Ricks; her daughter Carilynn Hardy (Jared); and her stepchildren, Jill Helland (Eric), Jennifer Johnson (Jade), Lance (Mary), Jay (Ellie), Josh (Pamela) and Kenneth Harrison (Trista). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (340 E 300 S, Smithfield, UT 84335).
