He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Robert; his parents, Erwin Lovin Gear and Fern Bate Gear; his spouse Sherree Lynn Evans; and his children, Robert Troy Gear (Jennifer), Angela Lynn Manning (Jason), Ryan Bradley Gear (Lisa), Kevin Brett Gear (Machelle) and Amanda Rose Herbstritt (Robbie). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, and the first of his great grandchildren.
