He was predeceased by: his daughter Kari Lynn; and his siblings, June Prothero, Richard Kay Howard and Neil Howard. He is survived by: his spouse Joan Hales; his children, Andrea Smart of Weston and Kurt Howard (Destry) of Kamas; and his brother Dennis Howard of Santaquin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
