He is survived by: his mother Melba Jane Madson Nelson; his wife Sharon Kay Mortensen; and his children, Quinn Nelson (Sophia), Zelma, Jeanice Woodbrey (Kelly), Amy Fielding (Michael), Matthew Nelson (Cathy), Ben Nelson (Hannah) of Blue Grass, IA, Nathan Nelson (Jessica) of Louisville, KY, Adam Nelson (Kristen), Saratoga Springs and Spencer Nelson (Tessa). He is also survived by 44 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren, his mother, his eight siblings and their spouses, and many nieces & nephews.
