She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Stokes and Isabel Tucker; her husband Noel Kelvin Hess; her son Noel Edward Hess; her sister Shirley Renae Wheeler; and her brother-in-law Bryan Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Hess (Karen) and Marie Hess; and her brothers, Darwin (Marsha) and Steve Stokes (Ann). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She lived a truly selfless life; an example and inspiration to everyone of patience and charity.
