He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Miller and Vivian Seibold Miller; his son Danny; and his siblings, Glendala, Cynthia, Glen, Gary, Ted, Susan and Barry.

He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Ellen Miller; his wife Ruth; his children, Holly VanGilder, April Hansen (Matt), Stephen, Mark (Shannah), Timothy (Anne) and Adam; and his grandchildren, Kalyssa, Haley, Ali, Greyson, Emerson, Lincoln, Jovi, Oaks and Scottie.
