She was predeceased by: her parents, William Doty and Jane Terry Doty; her spouse Lynn Thompson; her sibling Jed; her son Eric; her grandson Neil; and her son-in-law Neil.

She is survived by: her children, Gary (Laurie), Brent (Adele), Jed and Julie (Neil).

Viewing was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092).

“I have known the Thompsons for 25 years. Wilma was a beautiful lady inside and out. I spent lots of weekends at the cabin. I loved watching Wilma brush Lynns hair. This was a true love. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. Hug Lynn, Jed and Eric for me. You will be missed. Molly Nelson”
