He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gritton and Helen Gritton. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Powelson; his sister Sherrie Thorpe; and his children, Christopher (Kristin), Jessica (Wendy), Keith (Andrea) and Lisa (Todd). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
