Roy Royter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Royter of Sandy, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Royter and Bessie Royter (Bybee); his parents-in-law, Silas "Bish" and Bessie McCafferty (Peterson); his sons, Kenneth and Steven Royter; his brothers, Mitchell and Scott Royter; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Dewyea and David McCafferty.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Royter (McCafferty); his daughters, Lynda Mamborg (Daron) and Tina Royter; his siblings, Marilyn Gallegos (Junior) and Randall Royter (Steph); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Dewyea (McCafferty) and Robert McCafferty. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Larkin Sunset Lawn (2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
