He is survived by: his wife Della Rae Hampton Peterson; his daughters, Adri Ann Wootton (Doug), Michelle Jensen (Chris) and Sandy Doxey (Scott); and his sister Sharleen Heard Pope. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren.
