As LaRue Burt departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved LaRue Burt. Though LaRue Burt may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kenneth Burt and Thelma Bublitz; her husband Larry Alvin Erickson; and her sister Virginia Ashby (Roger). She is survived by: her daughters, Kerri Henrie (Brian), Janiece Sterzer (Russ) and Connie Erickson; and her siblings, Richard Burt (Sherry), Jim Burt (Marylee) and Dorothy Coburn (Gary). She is also survived by her five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Valley View Funeral Home (4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
