She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Chamberlain and Sally Heaton Chamberlain; her husband Gene Young; her son-in-law Stan Smart; her granddaughter Becky Smart; and her siblings, Val, Dell, Arel, Gard, Clella, Phyllis, LaPreal, Konda and RaNee.

She is survived by: her children, Sheryl, Ken (Cynthia) and Kurt (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Tracy Spencer (Paul), Mindy Ogden (Jon), Holly Carlson (Ben), Carly Rignell (Jason), Dane Smart (Mariah), Amber Young, Mandy McTiernan (Mike), Chayden Young (Ashlyn), Aleigh Birkeland (Kelly), Madison Anderson, Ashley Polidori (Will), Alexa Melancon (Matt), Aarika Rasekhi (Roshan) and Julia Jenson (Seth).
