He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Thedell and Lela Thedell; his wife Merrily Jill Ranck; his sister Carol Fairbanks; his daughter Bonnie; and his grandchild Daegan.
He is survived by: his children, Laura, Stacy, Jolie, Darrin, Dustan, Devin, Duke, David "Cush", Dallon and Dan. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery (10055 S State St, Sandy, UT 84070). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
