Darlyne Wells Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlyne Wells of Sandy, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Burr and Wanda Fern Brown Powell; her child Russell Rex "Rusty"; her husband Rex William Wells; her daughter Roxanne Allen; her son-in-law Paul Allen; her granddaughter Marie Ann Wells; her great grandchild Branson Wade Vaughan; and her siblings, Edna Hammontree, Ruth Stickles, Jack Powell and Carolyn Solomon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Ghaster and Tammy Merrell (Roger); her grandchildren, Katrina Vermillion (Jeremy Vaughan), Shalene Baird (Chris), Tyler Merrell (Tessa) and Amanda Dunford (Isaac); her great grandchildren, Cheyton Vermillion, Chenoa Shkoza (Parid) and Tucker Merrell; her great great grandchild Maeve Shkoza; her brother Leland Burr Powell (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Wells and Dana Wells. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stake Center (309 Western Hills Blvd, Cheyenne, WY 82009).
