He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. Lyle III (Robert A. Lyle IV); his son Austin A. Lyle; his mother Merle Lawrence Lyle; and his sister Ina Glynn Garni. He is survived by: his significant other Lori D. Smith Lyle; his son Dr. Adam R. Lyle (Allyson); his grandsons, Austin T. Lyle and William N. Lyle; his children, Dr. Derek D. Lyle (Tina Meftah) and Lauren E. Lyle; his granddaughter Violet F. Olwell; and his sister Susan Lyle Shank (Deane). He is also survived by in laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.
