He was predeceased by: his parents, Erna Auerbach and Kurt Auerbach. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ballard; and his granddaughters, Mary Jane (Ire Schoenwolf), Vera (Stella Auerbach), Violet Auerbach, Haelei and Daesen Vangend. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren.
He retired n January of 2020 because of health issues related to Covid.
