It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Draper Jones (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Jones Jr. and Olive "Colleen" Draper Jones; his sister Marilyn Jones; his stepfather Wayne Brewer; and his son-in-law Dale Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Katheryn Muhlestein; and his children, Bill, Kathryn Persch (Dave), Elizabeth Jones (Lorraine), Jennifer Hicks, Kristen, David Jones, Steven Jones (Jen) and Carolyn Potter (Gary).
During Covid, when his facility was in lock down, he would look out his apartment window and talk about the beauty of the sky, the clouds, the mountains or commenting on how wonderful people were.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
