In the sacred silence of farewell, Virginia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leroy Nielson and Marian Gardner Nielson; her husband Kent Black; and her sons, Joseph and Andrew Black.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Black Monson and Jane Black Gill. She is also survived by her grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holbrook Mortuary (3251 S 2300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84109). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Elysian Burial Gardens (1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, UT 84117).
