It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Craven Abbott (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Franklyn Abbott; his wife Bobbie Brackett Abbott; his children, Michelle "Ikie" Martinez and Mark Abbott; his mother Alice Craven Abbott Wilkinson; his son-in-law Victor Martinez; and his siblings, Jesse J. C. Salisbury, Brent Abbott and Nadine Cooper.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Anthony Martinez (Connie), Nicole Martinez, Meranda Martinez, Patrick Martinez (Amy) and Hannah Upwall (Tim); his son Robert Upwall; his brother Frank Lynn Abbott (Carolyn); and his great grandchildren, Andrea, Brija, Arya, Aiden and Kalen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
