It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley Mervin Richins (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Richins and Mervin Richins; his parents-in-law, Keith and Fern Hill; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Johnson and Annette Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Hill; his children, Cory (Jeanne), Scott (Ashlie), JJ (Amelia), Staci, Heidi (Jason) and Amy (Grant); and his sister Virginia. He is also survived by 23 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cannon Mortuary (2460 Bengal Blvd, Salt Lake City, UT 84121). Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the LDS Granite Ward Building (9575 S 3100 E, Sandy, UT 84092). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Mountain View Memorial (3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121).
