He was predeceased by: his wife Jeralyn Green; his children, Heidi and Josh; his son-in-law Greg Treaster; his grandchildren, Markelle, Tafton and Ashlynn Frei; and his siblings, Kim and Susan Frei.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Frei (Mandy), Jake Frei (Jennifer), Alecia Treaster and Heather Jensen (Greg); and his siblings, Keith Frei, Debbie Hafen (Lyman) and Nick Frei (Liisa). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and spouses, 6 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Memorial Mortuary (3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121).
After his Parkinson's Disease advanced, he was eventually moved to the Uintah Care Center in Vernal, where he resided until he passed.
