He was predeceased by: his parents, Viliami Lausi'i (Hihifo Tausinga) and Makeleta Fifita Tausinga; and his close friend Elina Tausinga. He is survived by: his spouse Elina Kaufononga Taufateau Tausinga. He is also survived by his four children, their spouses and fourteen grandchildren.
