As Matthew David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Matthew David. Though Matthew David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Morgan Clissold; his parents, Mario and Teresa; his brother Daniel (Cindy); and his children, Jasmine Paige Aviña (Quinten) and Matthew David Jr.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sandy, Utah, or the Ruff Haven Crisis Sheltering Center for pets in Salt Lake City.
