With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Elaine Jackson Horsley (Salt Lake City, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray William Jackson and Mildred Anne Smith; and her siblings, Fay Young, Marba Evans, Grant Murray, Joan Laws, Billy Ray Jackson and Jay Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Ferrell Horsley; her children, Julie Thorum (Tom), Jeff Horsley (Tori), Jennifer Atkinson (Allen) and Jason Horsley (Emily); her sister Sherrie Jackson; and her caregivers, Benjamin, Eliza, Sheila and Diane. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hillside Ward Chapel (7075 S 2260 E, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
