She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Coombs and Richard Harline; and her siblings, Brent Clyde Harline and Rae Harline. She is survived by: her husband Dil; her children, Dula (Susan), Julia, Ricky (Alex Bruey), Kristy and Nabby (Cameron Foulk); her grandchildren, Lewis, Stewart, Ruth, Dean, Rosemary and Ella; and her siblings, Marta (Curtis Price), Matt (Trisha), Kirk (Kathy), Scott (Karyn), Hugh (Lisa) and Roy (Estela).
She graduated with a degree in early childhood education from Brigham Young University and taught kindergarten for two years in Green River, Utah before marrying Dilworth Blaine Parkinson at the age of 24.
