He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hanks and Marian Hanks; his brothers, Richard Lynn Hanks and Jeffrey Hanks; and his stepson Andy Aamodt.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Hanks (Stephanie) and Kelly Farr (Chad); his stepson David Aamodt; and his grandchildren, Cayden, Rose, Violet, Radley, Callum and Prudence.
