Kathryn Rackham Obituary
In loving memory of Kathryn Rackham of Salt Lake City, Utah, who departed this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 81. Kathryn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moyes Schmalz and Karma Chadwick; and her sister Elizabeth Landes. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Julie Galbreath (Wade) of Moses Lake, Lynette Rackham of Moses Lake, John Rackham (Sarah) of Moses Lake, Laura Moncada (Jerry) of Flowery Branch, GA, Michael Rackham (Melissa) of Spokane and Kevin Rackham (Allyson) of Lethbridge, AB; and her brother Charles Schmalz of North Ogden, UT.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Grape Drive Chapel (925 N Grape Dr, Moses Lake, WA 98837).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
