She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lyman Russell and Vera Gibbons Russell; her husband Gerald "Jerry" B. Bruin (Jerry); her great grandchild Kaylee; and her siblings, Austin (Margaret), Raymond, Ruth (Lorenzo), June (Leon), Iris (Johnny), Ina and Charlyn (Neil).
She is survived by: her children, Kent (Bettyanne), Rodney (Jackey), Jan'a Maughan (David), Kaylynn Wheeler (Steven) and Jason (Candice). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
