Karl Schanz Ryser Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Schanz Ryser (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on August 30, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Ryser, Sr. and Hilda Schanz; his wife Sylvia Rainwater Ryser; and his siblings, James, Lucille, Berniece Stewart, Pauline Graham and Belle Strand.
He is survived by: his brother Charles; and his children, Karl Schanz Ryser Jr. (Julie Featherstone), Kary Grant Ryser (Kaye Haslam), Cindy Ann Ryser Strong (Blake Strong) and Stephen R. Ryser (Erin Davis). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog.
