He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe R. Gonzales and Olga M. Gonzales (Pooler); his wife Esther Lopez Gonzales; his siblings, Patricia Mayo (Stan), Michael Gonzales (Pam) and Rebecca Fuller; and his children, Jeremiah Gonzales, Brandon Gonzales, Angela Wilson, Jennifer McGregor and Andrew Gonzales. He was also cherished by his fifteen grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
The family requests that those who can, make donations to the VA or to a veteran's care facility of their choice.
