He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Rolan and Marilyn Michel Rolan; and his sisters, Kathy and Jennifer. He is survived by: his wife Jan Womack; his children, Jeremy Rolan (Sabrina) and Joanna Hackman (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Macenna, Kayzlynn, Rory and RJ.
He was later inducted into the Crimson Club Hall of Fame and the Utah Sports Hall of Fame Foundation.
