She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert LaGrant and Donna Marian Wright (Carpenter); her former husband Kenneth L. Peterson; her siblings, Bradford A. Wright, Clinton R. Wright, Raleigh M. Wright and Suzanne A. Jones; her granddaughter Cheyenne M. Adams; and her brothers-in-law, Olie Anderson and Edwin Swanke.

She is survived by: her husband Larry B. Gillman; her daughters, Denise Peterson, Marie Peterson and Alicia Peterson; her stepchildren, Lynnette Sasaki, LeAnn Hallock, Wendy Ford and Terry Gillman; and her siblings, Gilbert B. Wright (Becky), Joyce Anderson (Olie), Carolyn Brierley (Steve), Debby Bertoch (Steve), Paula Swanke (Ed) and Jennifer Johnston. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106).
