He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay George Thompson and Elizabeth Hall; and his daughters, Stephanie Tracy and Jennifer Lyn Thompson. He is survived by: his former wives, Penelope Erekson, Linda Gilliland and Virginia Vizina; his daughters, Susan (Scott Lloyd) and Shannon Smith (Steve); and his sisters, Kathy Thompson, Lori Bowcutt and Nancy Maughan. He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
