It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Dickson Jr. (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry James' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May James' journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He was predeceased by: his father James R. Dickson; his sister Mary Ann (McDermott); and his spouse Rula Fern Babcock. He is survived by: his children, James H. (Sydnee), Thomas R. (Tanja), Patricia Ann Douglas (Sean) and Carol Lyn Dickson (Mike Fisher). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He also served as a board member of the Deseret Foundation of Intermountain Healthcare and as a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Utah.
