With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George South (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 75. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint George leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Q. South and Melba Eastman South. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy (Larkyn), Jason (Miyo), Jared, Jacob (Mindy), Jennifer and Justin; and his brother Alan (Linda). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Camelot Ward Building (7255 2200 W, West Jordan, UT 84084).
