We bid farewell to Emma Lou Kasteler (Salt Lake City, Utah), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Emma Lou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her significant other Rodger David Kasteler; her children, Jennifer Swinyard Kasteler and David Roger Kasteler; and her parents, Ewart Ainslie Swinyard and Grace Chatterton Parkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Jensen (Christian) and Jeffrey (Jodie); her daughter-in-law Lisa; and her son Michael "Mika" Lee (Luse). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the LDS Chapel (4601 Chapel Dr, Holladay, UT 84117). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Emma Lou was born on July 9, 1937, to Ewart Ainslie Swinyard and Grace Chatterton Parkinson in Logan, Utah.
