It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved DeLores Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away at the age of 87, on January 11, 2025. Though DeLores may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those DeLores touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar George and Crystle Amelia Paulus; and her siblings, Bennie Paulus, Gary Paulus (Joanne) and Bonnie Lanora Paulus Hess (Steven).

She is survived by: her children, Debra Lynn Vasquez (Abel) and Glen Keith Smith (Liz); her stepdaughters, Charlotte June Smith and Virginia May Smith; and her sister Cheri Adele Paulus Law (Merrill).

Viewing was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
