He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Elwood and Beverly June Bastian; his children, Jeryn David and Chace James Bastian; and his nephew Robert Mugleston III.
He is survived by: his daughter Caressa Rae Bastian of Hermiston; his grandchildren, Jerynn Spencer, Saydee Spencer and Cole Spencer; and his siblings, Denise Mugleston (late Robert II) and Delyn Haaga (Bruce).
