He was predeceased by: his parents, Mirl William and Ada Bruesch Whitaker; and his siblings, Ronald Mirl Whitaker and Lola Whitaker Olson. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Sandoval (California), Cody Jacob Whitaker (Washington), Brody Teal Whitaker (Washington), Shayla Sage Whitaker (Nevada) and William Chance Whitaker (Utah); his grandchildren, McKenzie Rapp, Eli Sandoval and Chloe Sandoval; and his siblings, Morris Duane Whitaker (Utah), Deanna Whitaker Cole (Idaho), Claire Whitaker Olson (Oregon) and Joyce Whitaker Stroud (Utah). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
