It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lovato Cruz (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her fathers, Rolando Maximilliano Lovato and John Lovato (Marge Jiron); and her brother Robert Lovato. She is survived by: her husband Teddy Cruz; her children, Angelina Raso (Nate), Jaylynn Sandoval, Ashley Cruz and Teddy Cruz Jr.; her grandchildren, Quiana, Mathew, Noah, Miracle, Jullian, Mercedes, Diego, Marcus, Laila and Hadley; and her siblings, Lisa Tafoya, R. Pete Lovato, Paul Jiron, Pauline Jiron, Richard Lovato and Tina Ouzounian. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106).
