She is survived by: her spouse President M. Russell Ballard; her parent James Russell Bowen; her children, Clark Ballard (Leanna), Holly Clayton (Paul), Meleea Roper (David), Tammy Brower (Brad), Stacey Murdock (Hal), Brynn Huntsman (Peter) and Craig Ballard (Melissa); and her mother Afton Bowen.

She faced a long battle with myriad health issues, including Alzheimer's, with her characteristic grace and sense of humor.
