He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Bradlaugh and Arvilla Sorenson Newson; his brother Wayne Newson (Muriel); his girlfriend Marcia Anderton; and his great grandchild Damon Newson.
He is survived by: his children, Kim McCarrel (Steve), Dick Newson (Dana), Kirk Newson (Kelly), Steve Newson (Maria) and Dawn Brecke (Garen). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great, great granddaughter, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cannon Mortuary (2460 Bengal Blvd, Salt Lake City, UT 84121). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Memorial Mountain View (3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121).
