He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosme Mendez and Herminia "Minnie" Rodriguez; his uncles, Manuel Rodriguez Jr. and Gilbert Rodriguez; his aunt Zelma Rodriguez; and his cousin Rogelio "Gordy" Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his close friend Tracy Hanks; his son Justin Meadows (Kasey Zirker); his brother Baldemar "Baldy" Mendez; his nephew James Mendez; and also Angelica Mendez.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Barbary Coast Saloon (4242 S State St, Millcreek, UT 84107).
