He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Henson and Hattie Mae Henson; his brother Melvin Henson; and his son-in-law Char Forbes. He is survived by: his wife Beth Ann Stewart; and his grandchildren, Rhiannon and Nathan.

A memorial service was held on Monday, January 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the City View Mortuary (1001 E 11th Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
