Alton Frank Ekstrom Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alton Frank Ekstrom (Salt Lake City, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alton Frank Ekstrom to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his significant other JoAn Marva Ekstrom (Brown); his parents, Ernest Henry Ekstrom and Blenda Roenna Frandsen; and his siblings, Burke, Evan, Virgil, Vernal, Rowenna and Laurine.
He is survived by: his children, Susan, Brenda, Robert "York", Catherine, Jason, David, Steven and Martin; and his sister Shelia. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and his youngest.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bountiful Cemetery (2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, UT 84010).
