In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Alan Adams had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Alan Adams may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Milne and Adele Adams Matheson. He is survived by: his wife Mimi; and his sons, Alan, Jr. (Laura), David (Lynn) and John (Angie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Brighton Point Ward (3455 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alan A. Matheson Scholarship at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law; the Humanitarian Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; the Scott M. Matheson Leadership Forum at the University of Utah; or the Norma W. Matheson Education Animal Center at the Hogle Zoo.
