She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hill and Theressa Loveless; her husband Harold Smith; and her son Kent E. Carlson. She is survived by: her significant other John Everel Carlson; and her children, Douglas, Brad Carlson (Sandy), Jill Empey (David) and Cindy Barney (Dean). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary (4670 S Highland Dr, Holladay, UT 84117). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
