It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earl John Steiger of Salina, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Yme John and Ruby Rosella Benson Steiger; and his grandsons, Joshua Ferrin Steiger and Dannon Scott Steiger. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Martin of Salina; his children, Brent Earl Steiger (Stephanie) of Salina, Sondra Lynn Black (John) of Delta, Ferrin Don Steiger (Joy) of Vernal and Preston Joel Steiger (Mary) of Tucson; and his sister Helen Mary Romero of Elk Ridge, Utah.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery at 1:00 p. m. Because of COVID-19, attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
